I'm getting braces tomorrow. my ortho doesnt do color. how ugly will i look do you think??

You won't look ugly at all.  You will notice the braces a lot more and a lot longer than any of your friends and classmates.  Most of them won't even notice the braces in a few days.  As for the colors - some of them are pretty cool, but some of them just make your mouth look dirty.

If you have brothers, they will notice and they will do their best to make your life miserable because of the braces.  That's their job.

My daughter had braces for a year.  She hated them and she fussed and complained, like any other 13-year-old girl.  But when the braces came off, less than 2 weeks before she was in my youngest brother's wedding, she forgot how miserable she had been.  And then when she got married 4 years ago, and we got all those pictures with that beautiful, beautiful smile, every minute and every penny were well spent.

They won't be on long, and you aren't going to be ugly with them.

I had to wear braces...I know how you feel. But just concentrate on the finished product! Trust me its worth it... You'll have straight teeth for life! And if color isn't available, see if you can get ceramic instead of metal.. they blend in reali well and r less annoying!

not bad at all, i just got my braces on last monday and have no color at all, lots of people tell me that they look better then when they had color on theirs! Wish you good luck and remember to take some advil before you go in there ;)

i think braces are sooooo cute. i've always wanted them.. i used to take gum and wrap them around my teeth pretending like i had them. =P

be happy, braces are cute, and when theyre off your teeth will be straight and lovelys. =P

When I had braces, I opted for the ones without any color, and I thought mine looked much better than the people leaving the office with colored bands. People could barely tell I had braces, which is what I was going for. I opted for tooth color, but you might could just get the plain, see-through bands too.

I think the colored bands make you look really young. I'm sure you'll look just fine, and you won't look ugly!

No color is better - it won't stand out and make people notice them. Just think of what your teeth will look like afterward? AWESOME!

I THINK THAT WHEN YOU HAVE BRACES WITH NO COLOR ITS NOT UGL AT ALL AND PLUS LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE DID YOU KNOW WHEN IT HAS NO COLOR YOU CANT SEE YOUR BRACES WHEN YOU TAKE PICTURES =)
