  1. Sure you can, Nicole.

If you do plan to return to school, make sure your curriculum follows the school you plan to attend.

  2. I was home schooled and take it from me.... that was probably the worst decision I've ever done. Yeah, I thought I was gonna finish faster and it would be cool not going to school and waking up early everyday, but boy was I wrong... I actually finished 3 months later, had no friends, had a really bad sleeping habit, was very lonely, and didn't really learn much. You miss out on a lot...e.g prom, walking up in front of everyone getting your diploma...some of the best times of your life.Take it from me...I would say don't get home schooled. Trust me, you will regret it.

  3. "ABSOLUTELY",....

Yes you can sweety,...stay active in your community,..

example,..attend football games,...go to high school events,..

keep up with what's going on through friends ect,...involve yourself

with things that will keep you in touch with what's happening with

that school make a few friends attending the school if you don't

already have them,..home-school is not a sad event many people

home school for many reasons,..some do just what your doing,...

some all the way through high-school and into college,...it's not

hard to do and it is your choice and is legal in all 50 States,...;)

  4. Call the high school that you want to attend and ask them if that is allowed. Meet with the guidance counselor and find out specifically how to go about this. In CA, this is very difficult to do unless you homeschool through a charter school.

    Best of Luck!

  5. That will depend on the high school - each makes its own policies about accepting homeschool credits.  Some will test you, some will just tell you that you have to start over in 9th grade, with no credits.

The only way to find out for sure is simply to call and ask - they'll be pretty up front with you (or your parents) about their policy.  That way, you can make an informed decision about what you want to do, and when.

  6. My daughter is in the 7th grade and home schooled also. She say's that she wants to go to a nearby high school for a year or so because she really wants to get the experience. She has been in and out of public/private school so many times and I am fine with it. She likes it. Being home schooled is a hard transition for a public schooled student. My daughter seems to enjoy it a lot. I hope you do too.

For being a new student to home school check out www.Homeschool.com and order their new getting started books and E-kits.

    good luck! :]
