  1. ask to sleep in your parents room :D

or sleep and dont look at anything and have a huge comfy blanket on you

    sleep with a night light

and after you sleep ...dont watch another scary movie

  2. if you have a tv in your room put it on something that has nothing scary on it.  like watch E! or TLC or something.  this tends to help me forget about the scary movie cause i am watching something else.  you can leave this on all night and it will help you sleep and also leave a light on in your room or hall.  just get comfortable and if you have any pets i would get them to sleep in your room with you because that always makes me feel more safe to have my cats or dog with me.  and just relax and think of fun and happy things and you will eventually get tired enough to sleep!

  3. just dont go to sleep lol its one night

and once ur fear spouts over just dont watch any horror movies again

if your scared like this the movie has done its job

  4. For one thing, if you have a tendency to have an active imagination that keeps you from sleeping without being scared after watching a scary movie, then you should refrain from watching them.  I am such a person and I have had to learn not to watch such movies.  But....since you have already done so and you need to get to bed soon, I would suggest falling asleep with the tv on but set to a channel with harmless shows, such as old sitcom reruns.  You should make sure the volume is turned down low enough though and make sure that you can hear the tv, but you have to strain to hear it well.  I say this because when we fall asleep with the tv on, our hearing becomes accutely attuned to sounds and the tv will sound louder than it is and it could keep us from sleeping well.  You might even have dreams about the things you are hearing from the tv if it is set too loud.  Another idea would be to sleep with the radio on.  I have had to sleep with a light on when I have moments such as you are describing.  I wish you the best.  Try to hang in there and get some sleep.  Wear yourself out as much as you can before you go to bed so that when you DO try to get to sleep, then sleep will come quicker.

  5. Leave the closet light on or any kind of light that you may have in your room.

  6. Listen to soothing music... turn on a night light... tell yourself it isn't real... take a sleeping pill.

  7. i would not watch those movies ,if i were you. leave a night light on in your room, sllep on the sofa tillyou are over this  problem
