I'm getting married and I have no idea what to do for my favors. Being Italian I MUST have the almonds! :(?

I don't know what to do. I want cute wedding favors, but don't know how to incorporate the almonds without them looking like they were made in the 80's! what should I do. Any ideas are appreciated!

You just put them in a cute container - there are lots of ideas here - there are also the flowers where you insert the almonds in the petals.

You don't have to do the almonds if you don't want to. I want to know what my grandparents are going to say when the get chocolates lol. Those organza bags come in lots of colours are quite cute. You could use these and some ribbon to jazz them up.

I'm putting them in tiny plastic wine glasses, 5 (the good luck number) fits inside, and they're cut little favors, plus, it's only 20 bucks for a box of 144..

I am also an Italian Bride.

What my mother did was get chocolate coved almonds and is putting them in the center of the table as a "snack" before I show up.

For my favors my mother got Nemen Marcus Mint Tins, and wrapped them in silk black ribbon and then put a Gold seal of our Names and wedding date on them.

One of the neatest ideas I've seen lately is to give each guest a little favor box and let them fill it from a selection of candies.  The almonds could be one of the choices.

I had Jordan Almonds at my wedding.....they were fabulous.....these days brides are wrapping them in cellophane and making flowers out of them and giving those as favors....

It really depends on how much your budget is for your favors.....with a big budget...or...a small wedding you could find small crystal boxes and put the almonds in them...the colors of the almonds would glow thru the crystal.

I did the very simple tulle wrapped almonds with our name printed on the tying ribbon. The wrapping gets thrown away...but with the boxes they will have a keepsake.

I personally am allergic to almonds. Can you imagine I go to a wedding and this is what I get as a favor? This is one of the main reasons why I do not give nuts or something like that on favors.
