I'm getting married and need to know what spray tan will not stain my white dress?

I cant do tanning beds, I just burn but I like spray tanning but I need one that will NOT rub off on my white dress!

Then you need to be sure you do the spray tan a few days before your wedding so you can shower a few times before the big day. It will not all wash off. I have spray tanned and the color lasted at least a week if not more.  I wore an off white dress (not a wedding dress, a formal dress though) and the tanner did not come off on the dress. Tanned on a Wednesday, party was on a Saturday.

I would start using Jergens or even an off brand of Natural Glow.  That works the best IMHO of all tanners and it won't get on your clothes (it's lotion with sunless tanner).

I agree with Terrible Mess. She is right. If you go and have the spray tan done a few days in advance, giving yourself time to have a few showers, it will not rub off on your dress. It just needs time to settle. Its like your hair. You wouldn't get it coloured on the day of your wedding. You would get it done a week before so its got time to settle. Hope this helps. I've tried every self tanner out there (excluding the fancy department store ones) and they ALL will stain your white dress. I wouldn't risk it in a thousand years. I'm all for self-tanning, but decided to not do it for the wedding day because I didn't want to risk being splotchy or not looking like me or staining my dress (which I paid a lot for). Plus, my fiance says I look better in my normal, pale skin, anyway.

If you're adamant on self-tanning (kudos for not using a bed!) then I would splurge and get the professional spray done a few days before and ask if it will come off on your dress. I've never done that, so I can't say for sure, but I would think that would be a better option to ensure it's even front and back.
