  1. you are cutting it very close on finding a venue.  Most will be fully booked long before your date.

    I suggest having it at someones home or a VFW type hall.  Then find a caterer in your budget.

  2. Look around state and county parks.  October would be a great time to have an outdoor wedding.  Go to http://www.theknot.com/vs_PORTLAND_CAR.s... for information on venues.  This pulled up the Portland area, I don't know how convenient that is to you or not.

    Good luck!

  3. ummm here is what i could find

    good luck and congratulations!

    http://windrosecenter.com/

    i THINK the price for that place for weddings is $600..it has prices on the website plus -"When your group rents Windrose, you have access to virtually all the property including courtyards, trails, creek and lawn areas. Your group has exclusive rights and there will never be 2 groups on the property at the same time."

    there are 7 venues on this site (i tried to find prices but couldn't..) maybe check it out

  4. Mauritius --------->simply the best

    Simla,Kulu manali---------> the best i can suggest

  5. You are getting married this October? That is only two months away.  You better get hopping.  If I were you I would rent out a hall somewhere and have it catered.  Sometimes you can do it in the church and just have it catered or you could do it at someones house.  Having it at a reception hall would be expensive and it would be hard to find a place on such short notice.  If you want to do it cheap then you should keep it small.  You could keep it small and then go to a restaurant after the ceremony.  My cousin is in basic.  Him and his girlfriend didn't want to wait to marry so they eloped and in two years when my cousin is done they are going to have a big wedding on their two year anniversary.  This way they have plenty of time to plan.
