  1. doesnt hurt. its such a relief.

  2. It Really Doesntnt Hurt:

    1. They Undo YouElasticct Connecting The Wire To Each Bracket

    2. The Clip The Wire ThaConnectsts Each Bracket

    3. Remove The Wire

    4. Take Off The Brackets

    5. File Down The Glue On The Tooth ThaHeald The Bracket In Place

    6. Clean You Up

                                         And That'sIt!

TOP TIP: If They Make You Wear A Retainer - Dont Be Like Me Make Sure You Do Or You Will Undo All The Hard Work The Brace Did.

And The Retainer Will Make Your Mouth Produce Alot Of Extra Saliva For A Week Or So So Sucking On A Boilled Sweet Or Sumthing Similar To That Will Help And It Tastes Nice : )

                                         Good Luck

  3. not hurt

  4. That's wonderful!!! I had my bottom braces taken off last Thursday. No dear, just relax, it doesn't hurt. You'll probably dance.lol They took them off, after the wires and brackets were removed they polished them . Oh they looked sooo good. I have to go back the 21st and they'll check the  top ones. I have a space that is being stubborn and won't close so I feel it will be sometime in Sept. before the top ones come off. Just think how we both will be smiling!! good luck and DON'T WORRY

  5. Don't be scared at all.  This is entirely painless.

All the orthodontist does is take off the rubber bands [like they do each time you come back for an appointment where they replace the old, loosened rubber bands with new, tighter ones] and then they remove the wire.  After, they scrape off the brackets and clean off the rest of the "cement glue" that was used to stick the brackets to your teeth.  You might feel a slight pressure while they are removing the brackets and scraping off the "cement glue", but it's not painful.

    No, you don't need needles.

Yes, after the braces removing process is done, they will take this cool, mint tasting "cement mold" and push it onto your teeth.  The worse is that you'd have to keep your mouth open the entire time while the mold is hardening [not really hardening, but becoming more solid] and the strange taste, otherwise, it's completely fine.  The orthodontist will then peel off the cement mold and you can rinse out your mouth.

Your retainers should arrive in about 3 days to a week, some maybe longer.  It depends on your orthodontist, but it shouldn't take a month.

Once again, this process is completely painless and nothing to be worried about.

    Good luck!!

I hope this helped a bit.

  6. dont be scared. they just take off the wires and then mold your retainers.. but the mold does usually make people gag

  7. No It didsn't hurt. It just feel weird that you could feel your teeth. please PLEASE wear your Retainer! you don't want to undo all your hard work! I had a friend who had braces for 3 years and she was sick of braces so she didn't put of retainer and now her teeth are crook it. I would wear it everyday until the orthodontist say you could wear it every night. It is worth the wait because you will have a perfect smile to show off!

  8. doesnt hurt, dont worry. just relax

  9. no pain, no needles. they just remove the ties, remove the wire and pop all the brakets off. your teeth are gonna feel very slippery for a few days. after the brakets are off you rinse and then they polish off the cement. then they take the molds for your retainer. and some orthos give you a present like gum or gummy candy. any thing forrbidden
