I'm getting my braces on tomorrow....?

Question

Does it hurt....badly?

How long does it take for them to put the braces on?

Will I be sore?

It depends on how many brackets they put on. It may take anywhere from 10 minutes or and hour. Your teeth will be sore. Believe me I know. :) But after a week or so they will stop aching. You will probably want to stick to soft, mushy foods until your teeth are back to normal.

1) they put a thing in your mouth that keeps it wayyyyy open. and they blow air into your mouth so it stays dry. dont l**k your teeth, or else it will take longer.

2) they scrap at your teeth so there are tiny ditches where the brackets will go. this hurts a little :/

3) start putting the brackets on and they have some laser gun that goes the glue, its awesome hahah

4) when they are all done with that they take the thing out of your mouth and it feels SOOOOOOO weird!!!!

5) it hurts sooo effing bad too. takes a lots and lots of painkillers BEFORE, you will need them.

its going to be super hard to eat for 1-2 weeks. but i promise you it will get easier :)

it takes no more than two hours.

oh, it will give you cuts in the inside of your mouth too, swish some salt water. it will help so much haha

the pain will come back everytime you go back to the place, but do everything they tell you so that you will get them off on time, or early! and brush your teeth often, and more than what you usually did or else you will get spots >.< hahah

I get my braces tomorrow too!  If your just getting the brackets on (like me) then it won't hurt, but yuou will feel annoyance on your gums.  If you get the brackets and wires then they will hurt!  But only for a few days.  And it takes a good hour to put them on.  I hope I helped you!  Good luck with your braces!
