I'm getting my hair bleached today...?

Question

Should I wash my hair before I go in? I washed it yesterday....I don't know if that affects anything- I've never had my hair bleached before. Also I straightened my hair yesterday. I'm naturally curly, should I just wet my hair so that shows, so that they aren't misguided when I go in?

Not a good idea. If you just straightened your hair you should not bleach it so soon afterward. I would wait at least a couple of weeks for the bleaching.

It is preferred that you not wash your hair the day you color it. Reason being it may open the pores and sting when you put tint on it. Since you are getting streaks, which is called "off the scalp"bleaching it wouldn't hurt to wash, but still better if you dont. Your curly or straight hair makes no difference.

They'll wash it. They'll know that its curly as soon as they wash it. Just go in, don't do anything more to your hair as your about to have some serious chemicals added.

DONT WASH IT ! i always like to wash my hair the day i go to the hairdressers but not before bleaching. i did once and my scalp burnt so bad. they told me the day before is fine though. apparently the natural oils protects the scalp and washing it strips it right back. im naturaly curly too but i always straighten it . i dont think it really matters unless you are getting foils or streaks and you wear your hair curly reguarly. good luck ! blond is awesome :)
