  1. id prolly wait til a break considering ur getting all of them removed.

bc it can be as little as 2-3day or 7-10days.

    good luck.

once the swelling goes down u should be fine.

    good luck

  2. If you have a first class dental surgeon remove your wisdom teeth, you will be fine. There will be some discomfort for a day or two, but nothing to fear.

If you have all four out at once (then it is over in one shot) they will put you out with some morphine or perhaps some gas. You will notice that you feel a little sick from this for a few hours afterwards. Again, nothing to fear.

If you have all four out with your dentist or a poor dental surgeon, then the nightmares your sometimes hear about could happen. So, ensure that a highly recommended specialist does your extractions. Ask lots of questions.

I am a singer, so it was important for me to get the very best specialist in my local area to do my extractions so as to avoid any long term problems. I had all four out under morphine drip in his office, and it was a breeze.

I went to a party the next day, and was talking on the day. Had some stomach upset and some mild pain, but nothing serious. Get a good specialist and be easy on yourself for the first day and a half.

    Good luck!

  3. My brother had his pulled and he was puffed up like a chipmunk for two weeks. I would wait until a vacation to have them pulled. Also you will be in a little pain and people may not understand you.

  4. I just had mine pulled this past Tuesday and I'm still recovering. Two days before school starts is a BAD idea. You need more time to recover, and you can't eat solid foods for at least the first 5-6 days... I'm still working on pudding, soup, and other soft foods and its been 4 days for me. The procedure isn't bad, but it depends how old you are and if your wisdom teeth have grown in, or if they are impacted. You can always go to another doctor to get a later time. You'll be able to talk once your mouth stops bleeding and you don't have the gauze in it anymore, but your face will be swollen. Plus since you will be on a time schedule with pills, ice, and warm compresses, I would advise you to wait until maybe Thanksgiving break or something to have them pulled. Why do you need them out right away anyway?

  5. i just had my wisdom teeth out two days ago and ur cheeks are very puffy and your mouth is very sore and hard to smile and laugh cause it makes ur mouth sore and sometimes you need to put ice on ur face and wash your mouth out with salt water, and also not exercising cause it could start the bleeding again. so i would suggest changing it so you have a full 3 days at least to relax

  6. depends how old you are.  If you're like 16/17 then they should really just twist right out, and you will be fine after a couple days.  I was 26 when I had mine out, full on surgery, 3 out of 4 severely impacted, removal of a piece of impacted jaw bone, root wrapped around nerve, the full deal... I was functional talking and eating after 2-3 days.  Couldn't take vicodin as it gave me crazy nightmares, so this was just on tylenol also.  So if you are young the procedure should be quick and easy and you shouldn't have a problem.

The only reason your talking would be impacted AT ALL if when you have gauze in your sockets... those generally come out at some point the first day... after that... a few missing wisdom teeth won't affect your speech at all.

Don't worry about it...it will be easy.

Edit:  These people that have had swelling and pain a week after their surgeries must have had some crack surgeons... if you happen to be in the Bay Area email me and I can recommend an extremely top notch oral surgeon.
