I'm getting ready to start Clomid was wondering what my chances of getting pregnant are the first time?

I got pregnant with my son naturally and 3 years later I find out I have pcos. I became pregnant in Oct of last year and then m/c in Dec at 8 weeks. Since I have found out that I dont ovulate but once a year. I was just wondering if anyone has gotten pregnant on the first round of clomid after getting pregnant once or twice naturally. Any info would be soooooo helpful. Thanks

If Clomid makes you ovulate the first time out, your chances are as good as any.  Some women get pregnant on the first cycle, some women need more time.  The success rate with Clomid is within 6 months of treatment.  However, if after a few months you find you're still not ovulating you may want to move on to something else.

Hi, i've been on clomid for a dozen cycle's and injectables. TTC for 4 yrs. Its a trial n error, dear. If it works, it work! Best of luck!
