  1. 1.tap water with declorinator (water conditioner) added

    2. 2 times a month

    3. no bowl at all

fancys need 20 gallons for the first and 10 for each additional

comets/commons need 50 gallons for the first and 10 for each additional

    4. goldfish flake

    5. get driftwood and live plants from the pet shop don't use flake ornaments

do lots of reaserch on cycling the aquarium

    they grow over a foot

  2. need a tank so they get oxgen food net

  3. no bowls,  you need the biggest tank you can buy, a good filter, water could be settled water for couple of days or just add anti chlorine or conditioner.  Daily water change of 10 percent for optimum water quality,  goldfish flakes, bloodworms, tubifex, brine shrimp, peas.

  4. You can use normal tap water but you MUST put water softener in the water otherwise its deadly to fish.you have to wait 1 or 2 weeks after putting the water in the tank otherwise the fish might die of "new tank syndrome". you should change 1/4 of the water every 2 weeks and scrub the side of the tank. i wouldn't get a bowl if i was you, get a least a 20l tank with a filter and just feed them regular goldfisk flake food. its a good idea to get some gravel and some ornaments.

hope i was a good help!!!

  5. 2 Fancy Goldfish require a 30+ gallon tank with a good filter, since they can grow up to a foot long. 2 Common Goldfish require a 75+ gallon tank with an excellent canister filter, since they can grow up to a foot and a half long. Other than that, just make sure to get a filter (no heater since they're coldwater fish), water conditioner, test kit, lighting, and all the basic necessities: http://www.fishlesscycling.com/articles/...

Btw, no Goldfish in bowls. Read this link explaining why: http://www.animalfreedom.org/english/inf...
