I'm getting two teeth pulled and I have some questions...?

Its tomorrow, I'm getting the teeth pulled that are right behind my EYE teeth(the sharp pointy ones) on my top set of teeth for braces. Does it hurt? My friends say they cried, but my dad said it didn't hurt him. I'm really worried.

when i got my tooth pulled, it was the most horrific experience. I was only 9 (im 13 now) and I guess my tooth was in place pretty strong, and the dental tool was left hanging in my mouth halfway through the procedure. I felt blood running down my tongue & throat.....and YES I cried

I got my tooth pulled yesterday, and I didn't feel anything, except the needle to put the pain killer in. Also, you feel a slight pulling. Today I feel fine.

I got the last molar, way in the back, on the upper left side pulled..

There is no reason why you should have to put up with any pain from having your teeth pulled out, except for the little pinch when you have the local anaesthetic. If it starts to hurt really bad when your dentist pulls just put your hand up to tell the dentist and they should give you a bit more anaesthetic. You might feel a bit of pressure but you shouldnt feel pain. If your friends cried it could be that they were so nervous that they started crying, and sometimes when people get really scared they imagine there's more pain than there is. Sometimes there can be some unlucky times where the dentist cant get you numb but you can ask them to stop if they cant get you numb, and have it done under general anaesthetic instead. But usually teeth come out in a few seconds and the patient doesnt even know it's done!

I had four bicuspids(I believe that's the same tooth you're talking about) pulled all at once in each corner of my mouth before I got braces and I don't ever remember being in any pain. Though it was quite sad and awkward trying to eat applesauce while my mouth was still numb, I made a mess and felt pretty pathetic.

My tooth holes never bled past the first day, and I ended up finding them kind of cool. When the procedure was done they injected anesthetic all around my mouth and I was on 'laughing gas', never felt a thing, I may have even fallen asleep during it.

If you have a good, professional dentist you should have absolutely no problems.

i had the same teeth pulled, but i also got them on the bottom as well, for braces.

It didn't really hurt that much, you feel a lot of pressure, but it isn't really pain.

It might be different for you though, cause everyone is different, but good luck!

Im not sure if your getting the same treatment as me, but if you are, the thing that really hurts is when they put the implants in(there like little screws that go in the jaw).

They hurt me for like 2 days straight, and i cried from those. But, if you don't get them, then nothing they can do will hurt that bad.
