  1. Anything that has to do with 'life after retirement' ; vacationing, lounging, gardening, shopping.

  2. Vacation brochures would be a great decoration. A favor you could make your own litte pink slip and make it worth something in a raffle or a door prize. Could make cans for centerpieces and start a collection sense she won't have any income anymore. I guess it depends on how formal the luncheon is or how silly you make it. I'm sure you can do a search and find a site that offers party favors for retirement. Good luck:)

  3. chocolates

  4. This site has allot of good ideas!

  5. Where is her dream to retire to? Or her dream vacation? Go with that as a theme.

If it involves a beach you can stuff a tiki cup (here: http://tikizone.stores.yahoo.net/tinutcu... ) or margarita glass with sample suntan lotion, sunglasses, a party straw (http://tikizone.stores.yahoo.net/flowlei... puka shell bracelets or necklaces would be a real nice (& still affordable) touch.  If you want to splurge you can include a CD of beach music--oldies or reggae.

  6. Check out martha stewarts website like favor bags filled with cookies/chocolates/brownies,etc......dam... that lady has good taste. You might also want to check out wedding wedding favors for ideas & personalize it.

  7. In the wedding department at craft stores (i.e. Michaels) they'll have little tulle bags you can fill, or you can get little plastic Chinese take-out containers at a Dollar store .....  sachets, flavored lip balm, small hand lotions (Bath  & Body Works has small travel-sized items) , a small container of mints (chocolated covered Altoids are great), votive candles
