U.S. citizens do not need a Colombian visa for a tourist stay of 60 days or less,

as for Italy ,you do not need a visa either :

ITALY - *Passport required.  Visa not required for tourist or business stays up to 90 days.  (**90-day period begins when entering Schengen countries).  

make sure your passport has at least 6 months left , some countries require a year left on your passport ,
