I'm going camping in May and I need to know what to buy and what to wear!?

I'm going camping in May, and I don't know how to pack. I need to wear light clothing. What kinds are good and cheap? PS: can you tell me where to buy em? And some equipments please. I just wanna know so I canbe prepared and going shopping soon! ;D

Go to Walmart. They have a section just for camping. Just use common sense on what to buy. and on what to wear. i would definitely not wear shorts. you'll be less likely to get ticks, chiggers, and other bugs. (oh and don't forget a tent.)

If you want quality, go to an outdoors store like REI or EMS. You can find some reasonably priced things, though a lot of it is in fact more expensive.

May is far, you've got time. But if you're going backpacking, definitely buy stuff sacks to compress your clothes and other items.

Bring bandanas (always come in handy) BUGSPRAY and suntan lotion.

If you need boots, make sure that they're worn it - you do not want blisters!

wet wipes are great!! they help to clean off after a long day.

And try and dress in/pack layers, its easier to take off layers and better than not having enough. good luck and happy trails

Well the size of your tent depends on the number of people.. how big they might be and everything like that.
