I'm moving into an apartment this month and I want to decorate in a kind of French vintage theme. I'm not sure how to go about it, though. And, it's a fairly small space. (Two bedroom apt. with 900sq ft.)

  1. start small.

    Lamps,

    seatings,

    area rugs,

    art

every piece doesnt have to be in theme. A few pieces here and there can give the feeling.

  3. White with a HINT of pink fr the walls...they wont look pink just warm white...green (pale) woodwork....look on the Dulux leaflets for a pic of how nice this looks....get some nice vintage or vintage look lave panels for any long windows....look on Ebay for genuine vintage tins and accesories for the kitchen...you'll want classic lines...white painted furniture...I get mine at car boots and charity shops and then paint them muself...white or cream.

  4. Toile bedding will look FABULOUS!! It's a beautiful pattern and chic. Check Nextag for pricing.
