If the interview is 2 hours, most likely it will be what is often described as a "behaviourist" interview.  There will be several quesitons of the type "What would you do if ..." or "Describe what you did when ... "  Your best preparation would be to think of difficult hypothetical situations they might ask you about and be prepared with answers.  Be prepared for questions such as how would you cope with difficult bosses or colleagues.  Best of luck with the interview.

  3. When applying for a government job it is typical for you to be interviewed by a panel or hiring committee.  It will likely be comprised of your supervisor-to-be, someone senior within the department and someone from the public service commission.

    Questions will range from knowledge of the position applied for, decision-making ability, social skills (communication), etc...
