  1. As it's Euros it does not make much difference when you buy it, but you'll probably get a better exchange rate in your holiday destination!

  2. i will just say to you just go in the greece in your vacant time..

  3. I only buy enough in this country for Taxi's and a drink as I like to buy my money when I'm on holiday, it usually doesn't fluctuate too much and it's good fun when it goes up a cent or two.

    Everyone is different but make sure you don't have to pay an exchange fee.

  4. Now is a good time as the pound is stronger just now It was weaker a few weeks ago and with the way inflation is in England at the moment it could mean that the euro will go up

  5. Go to the PO, they have the best rates and no commissions, buy when the exchange is strong, a day or 2 won't make much difference, the financial times gives up to date exchange rates, so does the teletex service.

    Have a great hol

  6. Well, check online with;

    www.travelex.co.uk..........you actually get a better rate of exchange if you order your currency online, and then collect it from your nearest Travelex branch, or

    Check at your local Co-op supermarket, where they are currently offering packages of 100, or 50 euros, and they generally offer a good rate of exchange too.

  7. just buy enough euro's here to last a few days from either the post office or preferably marks n spencers if you have one near you. take the rest in mixture of cash to change over in greece as you get a much better exchange rate and use your debit card from a cash machine over there.

    that way you have a mix of both and should be much safer, also dont forget for your trip back to keep a little bit of stirling as some airlines dont take euro's in case you want to buy something on the plane back.

    ps whatever you do dont buy euro's at the airport as thier exchange rate is terrible.
