I'm going into 7th grade and i need help!

Question

my mom thinks that i should take band but i really wanna play football. she says if i play football she wont drive me to the games. what should i do?!

just tell her that you dont want to do band and that you really want to do football or you could do both have a fun first day of 7th grade it was really easy so you wont have to worry about that just dont procrastinate when you get an assignment do it that day when you get home and use an assignment notebook so that you wont forget some books in your locker or something

You can ask a friend to drive you to practices and games. Thats what i did since my dad was working.

well, you can't really play football if she won't drive you to the games. you may get kicked off the team if you don't show up enough. i've never played football, so i don't know.

you know your mom better than i do, so try to convince her to let you play. if you make really good grades she might let you, but still i don't know her. if there's no way she will let you play, i'd say go ahead and take band. just for something to do, and you'll probably make friends if your school is big and you don't know everybody.

this is really up to you, but i would take band if it was the only option (as in you can't play football). just for something to do.

Do both. I dod. whenever band marched at halftime I just took my top pads off and marched in my jersey. Band is wayyyy too awesome to pass up on. Play the Tuba. Low Brass Rocks.trusst me. so many people do both. unless you loath band. in that case just play football. your mom wont neglect you when you have to walk home like 10 miles everyday. or find a car pool with someone from school

If you want to play football, I'm almost certain that there is a bus that takes you from your school to the game, and from the game to your house.

explain to her how ur feeling and try to compromise.  why not do both? im in orchestra and also did some after school clubs and sports. and tell her that colleges want more than just school now, the want u to be well rounded. hope u get to play football.

aww that's not fair. Talk to ur mom. try to see if you can car pool with friends. ask her why she feels this way and try to help her understand how you feel. good luck hun

well you can do one of these take band and football that way you are pleasing her and you are pleasing yourself or join football with a friend and ask him if you can hitch a ride with him to the practices/ games. 7th grade was fun for me good luck OH and if you have no one to hitch  a ride with go walking a bike or make a friend who can take you GOOD LUCK
