I'm going into 8th grade.?

Question

I am going into 8th grade at the same school, and last year in 7th, a lot of the girls were cliquey and stupid and didn't care about being smart, and they were really immature. The boys were immautre as well, and really short.

Should I expect that this year in eighth grade, everyone will be a little more mature and a little taller maybe?

well I totally uderstand. My parents tell me the guys grow in high school:(

Maybe not the girls. The girls will probably be clique-ish for a while. The guys, however, will be taller, have deeper voices, etc.

I remember when I went into 8th grade and one of my aquaintances/friends was like 6 inches taller than I was. :P

no not really but they might be taller but you wont notice lot

I really don't see why it would matter, all that really matters is that you are smart and you do well in school, don't worry about the people around you, and do you have something against short people?

Maybe the people will be a little bit taller. But I don't know about the mature thing. It's the same  way at my school. But as long as you stay out of the drama and don't worry about everyone else, then you should be fine. And you will be the one getting your diploma and going on to High School while they stay back so. Don't let them get to you. Good luck!

Taller maybe but more mature probably not.  Don't worry about the cliquey girls just stick to your studies that's whats going to pay off.  I was very cliquey in high school and thought that I was all that and now looking back since I have kids of my own I wish that I was nicer to people in high school.  And boys well, my husband is 38 and he's still immature!
