I'm going into eighth grade... any tips from people who have been there?

Get used to te teachers giving speeches along the lines of "they will not baby you like this in high school next year."

seeing you're a girl, and i was in 8th grade last year, if you wanna "fit it" with all the idiots you will encounter, attempt to look hot, gouge yourself in S****y makeup, when you wear a skirt, make sure you bend over a lot when picking something up or getting a drink. when one of the few normal kids says you're your f*cked up, he's right, but its cool in everyone elses eyes.

im a senior..so i was in the eight grade not that long ago..umm just be yourself,and have a good attitude,dont try to down other ppl or anything like that,just pay attention in class,take good notes,supplies just as always lots of paper and pencils,maybe a calculator,ruler,i prefer one of those paper ones,umm thats about it...oh and have fun too!

well it really is easy

you dont need to do anything because nothing in middle school really matters

seriously in 8th grade i just enjoyed being on top or whatever and i enjoyed my time cause dude once you get to high school and become a freshman your going to die

high school sucks in general so just enjoy 8th grade

yeah... I just got out of 8th grade and its not as hard as everyone says... definitely do your work and don't get caught up in drugs and c**p, and you'll be the seniors of middle school so you'll be fine... take it easy and cram for major exams and stuff but don't forget to relax.. this is your major year before high school - ENJOY IT! you'll be fine!

For supplies just take the basic and the teachers will tell you what you need on the first day... and honestly it was easy...

You've passed the worst year, 7th grade, where you need to adjust to high school. Year 8 is the most fun year, enjoy it!

Tips: None its just like 6th and 7th grade

Supplies: Should be a list on your school website or in  the local walmart or whatever but the basics are

-3" inch binder

-Loads of college ruled paper

-makers, colored pencils, glue stick, all that craft stuff

-Red,Blue,& Black Pens

-Mechanical Pencils (so u dont have to sharpen ur pencil all the time)

-Spiral Notebooks and the Journal Type...
