I'm going into my freshman year of high school what should i expect?

Well it'll be a little hectic this year.. you'll  be making new friends and your middle school click will probably split up. Freshmen otherwise known as "Fresh meat" usually brings ton of drama, rumors, and such.

This year pretty much defines you, you do bad in school, its definantly going to catch up with you. Just don't slack, no matter how much you want to.

I'm a freshman. I started school about a week ago. Honestly it's not what people make it sound like. I used to be worried and I asked my friend about it and she made it sound like the ghetto lol. My only complaint is everyone calls me freshman but besides that you should be fine.

It depends on where you live.

But you can count on a good 10 times the drama, way more homework, more chances to make and break friendships, and more chances to do just about anything. Just make sure that you are who YOU are, not who others want you to be. Don't dress like, act like, or hang out with someone just to be friends with them. A decent person will like you no matter who you are. I cannot stress that enough.

If you must change, change into who you want to be. Don't let anyone put you down and always keep your chin up.

They say High School is the best four years of your life for a reason. It can also be the worst four years. You get out of it what you put into it.

I was really intimidated when I was about to go into high school and I admit that the beginning of freshman year is a little bit scary because you're a 14-year-old going to the same school as 18-year-olds. But get involved in a sport or band or something you find interesting and you'll find a group of kids you like to hang out with. You also have to remember that the seniors have been there for three years and are starting their fourth year so even if you don't like to admit it, they DO know what they're talking about. It also helps if you can make some friends with upperclassmen because they usually know the ins and outs of the school. Good luck! High school is a fun learning experience where you'll learn so much about yourself.
