I'm going on a cruise to Mexico, what kind of sunscreen do i need?

Get a sunscreen that blocks both UVA and UVB rays. Get at least a 30 SPF or higher. I think the highest SPF is 50. Remember to reapply. Have fun!

There aren't as many kinds as the stores would like you to believe.  It is just marketing c**p.

SPF 30-60 is appropriate.

On my first Mexican cruise, I took suncreen with SPF 30 and still got burned.  I am going on another cruise later this summer and am going to try SPF 50 which is the highest I have been able to find.
