I'm going on a pub crawl (woo!), what alcoholic drink should i drink?

Question

I know it wont be able to complete the crawl coz it's the circle line pub crawl (27 stops!) but i'm determined to go as far as possible so wanted to know the least alcoholic drink (though not beer as i don't like it and cider has a weird affect on my soberness lol).

I was thinking of diet coke (to have less sugar) and malibu (as i've heard it's a comparatively low spirit when it comes to alcohol content)? Anyway, don't know much about alcohol content so would appreciate any suggestions of stuff with a low content!

As a bartender the suggestion to ask for lots of ice is as far from what you want as possible.  Ice takes up space in the glass which in turn leaves less room for the mixer (juice, pop, etc.); making a stronger drink.    Instead ask for a tall with light ice.  Berry vodka and sprite is yummy or even Malibu and juice (cranberry or pineapple).

Half & half shandy.  It looks like bear and you can drink twice as much.  It worked for me when my 'crawling' days began!

Do you have to drink alcohol in each pub? Cos an idea would be to drink an alcoholic drink you like but only in one in three pubs and drink a small non-alcoholic drink (e.g. one of those little mixer bottles) in the other two (but don´t tell anyone!) That way you ´only´ drink nine drinks and should be able to survive the whole crawl and impress you mates!

seriously, some coolers are low in alcohol percentage, or ask for any drinks with lots of ice...my fave is a fuzzy navel.

Just remember this:

Beer before liquor makes you sicker

Too much mixing means your tummy takes a l*****g

Pick one alcohol and drink it all night!  You can vry the mixer but don't vary the alcohol too much.  For example, if you start with Vodka cranberry, then you can have bloody mary's, absolute coke, vodka tonics, etc.
