I'm going on holiday to cyprus soon (from uk), I was wondering how much 200 cigarettes will cost on the flight

and in cyprus will cost me? Also, how much roughly I will need for expenses for a week holiday?

I don't know about the cost in Cyprus, but what I would do is to visit the duty free shop before I leave London and buy a couple of cartons of cigarettes (make sure you check to make sure how many you can bring into Cyprus!)

This should be cheaper than buying them on the plane or in Cyprus!!!!!

The cigarettes in Cyprus are almost half price than in the UK. For example 200 cigarettes Marlboro will cost you somewhere around 45 Euros. Which is around 34 GBP.

In the Cyprus airport duty free you might get them cheaper.

For expenses it depends.

If you are going alone, then dont waste too much money on taverns etc. There are plenty of fast food worth trying. For instance try Souvlaki, Gyros (donner kebab) etc. Also, bakeries sell a great variety of food as well and its delicious.

Taking the above into account, you will probably spend around 15-20 Euros or even less just for food and soft drinks per day.

If you are traveling with company then when going out to restaurants or taverns to eat, whatever you want to order make sure you order meal for 1 person. The food we Cypriots eat is usually more than we have to consume. So, be aware and order always less than you think you need and trust me it will always be more than enough.

Furthermore, if you are planning to stay for a long period of time, ie more than a week, avoid the kiosks for soft drinks. Its cheaper if you buy them from a supermarket. And dont worry there is a supermarket in nearly every corner!!
