I'm going on holiday tomorrow with my 18 month boy? What stuff should I take for him?

We're going to Majorca, and apart from all the obvious shorts, t-shirts, swimwear etc what else should I take for him?

All ideas welcome please!!!!

I would take a few things that are familiar or part of the daily routine.  I recently holidayed with my 16 month old in Rarotonga.  We took a couple of favourite books, 2 or 3 favourite toys, and a bedtime toy.  Other than that, there will be lots of new things for him to look at so you should be fine!  One thing I was really glad I took was my Ergo (backpack/frontpack), as he sleeps comfortably in it, and it was great if he was tired and we were out and about!  The other thing that came in handy was some familiar snack food - raisins etc.

everyone else sums it up but don't forget to take and activity pack or magazine for plane/car journey it helps with my kids have fun oh and if it is a plane your on make sure your child is sucking/drinking something on take and landing and it will help with ears popping

If you use the plastic plates to feed him take them as my grand daughter is just back from spain and broke 2 plates and they weren't impressed, if you use the baby sit in swim rings remember that and from glasgow you cant take duty free out if you are going to EU country, you have to buy it there and if any of you smoke take some cigs with you till you find the best tobacconist and they close on sundays. Enjoy your holiday, its 31c in Majorca today, we go from Prestwick next week.

you should take some calpol. couch medicine, for the both of you because the climate change will have an effect on you both.

sun tan / barrier cream ,  parasol , swimming arms inflatable , medicine first aid kit , ball ( small )
