  1. Totally check out this website! I am a professional surfer now and I still go here to look up things... It gives a basic idea of what you should do... proper etiquette and just some really good ideas and what not to help you out! Have fun mate! You will definitely enjoy it!

  2. 1) When paddling out, paddle to the outside and not where the wave is breaking. Stay out of other people's way.

    2) If someone already has a wave, don't catch it.

    3) Learn the surfing edikate and don't be a wave hog. Wait your turn for a wave.

    4) Don't drown

Good luck to you and stay away from my break!

  3. definetly go with someone, just to be safe

  4. stay away from man eating sharks.....

  5. Take a lesson first.  Some of the biggest problems you may have are not following board safety or surf etiquette.  You don't want to get a broken nose paddling out or get run over by someone on a wave.  I also suggest reading up on learning to surf from any of the online resources.

  6. dont go insane

  7. Have fun!

  8. watch out for rip currents, make sure you can swim good

  9. turn with your front, lean on your back...start out on your stomach till you get used to it, then slowly stand up after a while...start out on the medium sized waves, the big ones are too big and the small ones are hard to catch with there lame power...Good Luck
