  1. Here is a currency converter - maybe that would help?

  2. Use American Express whenever possible

  3. Change english money into travellers cheques.  Then when you need money in a particular country, then change the travellers cheques into their currency whilst in that country.

  4. nationwide have a debit card that you can use abroad and they don't charge you so open an account with them then you can use atm's in whichever country you are in, that way also you don't have the risk of all your money being stolen

  5. Little more specific about what countries please

  6. Life takes Visa........ or u can just convert ur money when u get there.

  7. Credit cards or travellers checks...

  8. Visa card takes care of all that.

  9. Call any bank and ask how much of the local currency is worth $1 US dollar. The US dollar hardly fluctuates so you can go by that anytime.

Here's a tip: walk around with a small calculator. Always convert the price of each item to your own local currency to see if its worth it.

  10. I went to Europe before they had the "euro". When I travelled to each country I did this: I exchanged my money the very first thing when I got off the train. Before I got to the country I made a money exchange list....one dollar equals (whatever money I was using)....two dollars equals...etc It was simple and easy

  11. either visa/MasterCard or travellers cheques are brill as well...

  12. Use a credit card. Then you have no worries!!

You can always exchange your money at any bank in any country.

  13. ATM's will give you cash in the local currency wherever you go.  Just make sure your ATM card is linked (does it have the cirrus or maestro logo on it?)  If it doesn't, talk to your bank and they will fix it.  That and a credit card is the best way to travel money wise.  Traveller's cheques are very last century.

  14. credit card

  15. The first answer u got is very good cause you will save ur self the hassle of a change point every time and the bank commission is cheaper then running around looking for a change point that doesn't take commission

    Have a good time.

  16. You could use your credit card or if you're using cash, set aside the amount of money you're using for each country, and get them exchanged in the country.
