I'm going to Australia on a working holiday visa for 12 months in October...?

my question is what is best to take, a massive Backpack or a massive Luggage canvas suitcase? and what is the BEST Backpack or suicase to take (like the Gucci for fasion, Sony for electrics the asbolute best where moneys no object)

Well I used to swear by Samsonite, until my last trip, they got well battered, the metal frames were twisted and stuff got stolen, and they were supposed to have a 10 year or more guarantee, until you try to claim that is,  so I would probably say, take valuable electrics with on on board in your hand luggage and just buy a good lightweight backpack used for trekking, use mini padlocks on all zippers and add a couple of luggage straps for extra security.
