  1. Some trendy restaurants in Brussels are besides the Quincaillerie : Tasso (you need to go there by taxi), le Bazar (rue des capucins in the Marolles area, there is a bar downstairs, I've been there a few months ago with some girlfriends and they really loved it), Blue de Toi (an old time classic in the rue des Alexiens), the Belga Queen (very spectacular setting in rue Fossée aux loups), Bij den Boer (Belgian café with very good seafood at reasonable prices on the Baksteenkaai), only a few steps away is "chez Jacques", both of them are the best restaurants on the Baksteenkaai where locals tend to go.

The restaurants in the rue de Dansaert are also very popular (i've forgotten the names, but had already good food there).

For all of them I'm sure you can find a guest book, pictures and comments on www.resto.be, the comments might be mainly in French

  2. Comme Chez Soi is the most famous restaurant in Brussels

    And also, La Quincaillerie.

But in Belgium, wherever you go, you'll like it, don't worry. Their restaurants are all wonderful. Not just these two.

  3. Just walk around the cities you visit and you find out that there are good restaurants in almost every street and the food is delicious, at least in every restaurant I have visited.

By the way Amsterdam is in Holland (the Netherlands), but the same goes for that city too.

I hope you will enjoy your trip and your meals!
