  1. check this link to for travellers going to mexico

    http://www.nathnac.org/ds/c_pages/countr...

really you dont need vaccines that you should already have for england

dengue is the only real threat to tourists in mexico but that only occurs in very low lying areas and is very infrequent and more to the point there are no vaccines

  2. No you don't but you will be miserable because it is very hot there in May!!

  3. No at all. You will need to be safe there ... as far as maybe just drink water bottles, amount of alcohol consumed, food, sun.. use spf lotion. Just the basic.. and if ur planning on getting crazy due to the whole (out of country experience) it is spring break out there now.. so just *use protection*

  4. Mexico

  5. The practical, realistic answer is "NO."  you are not going into remote regions, you are going to Cancun...like going to Miami.  I LIVE in Mexico and had no shots when I came here...same as

every other gringo I know here.  If you were going camping in a remote junge, that ould be different.

  6. hepatitis b & c i'd say. . this is something to ask your doctor, usually they can give u a whole concoction of vaccines in just one shot. keep in mind that vaccines are causing a lot of problems, esp because of high mercury content.. some doctors / reserachers in the usa, UK, and australia blame vaccines for problems like downs syndrome and asthma that have peaked over the last century since we started vaccinating (this is mostly from vaccines in small kids tho..). also i'd get tetanus! a friend of mine was playing frisbee in front of his hotel in cuba and stepped on a nail and he was terriffied of what the cuban doctors in the ER were going to do.. eventually he just left the hospital & got the tetanus shot once he flew back to canada 2 days later...

  7. I have been to Cancun either 11 or 12 times, I have lost track, but I never was told to get any shots before going and no, I did not catch anything except a cold on a couple of trips.

    Have fun planning your vacation,

  8. you dont need anything special.....i have been there and never even thought of shots.

im starting to believe that vacation spots within the U.S. are spreading all these wierd ideas about going on vacation to Mexico (or any part of the world).

like if you go to mexico you will get diseases, or shot, or robbed....yes those things can happen...but you know, when i was in berlin...their news stories were about how dangerous it is in the U.S. ...and how you will be killed in Santa Monica or Miami (places were German tourists have been robbed and killed). Also, they talk about how nile fever has killed people in the US too.....so every country wants to scare you into not going so you spend your money within the country.

but if it brings you peace of mind, get some shots....i wouldnt
