I'm going to Costa Rica in early August and have a few things I definitely want to do...?

I would like to visit a volcano, possibly zipline through the jungle, and some other activities. Do I need to have these activities pre-arranged when I arrive in Costa Rica, or will I be able to set everything up easily once I arrive there? I will only be there for a little over a week.

For the most part you can arrange after you get there but since you are there for a short time it might be best to make some hotel reservations ahead of time (like in La Fortuna/Arenal volcano).   The best zip lines are near Arenal or in Monteverde for example--but there are zip lines all over.

You can arrange everything when you get there, but it's better to ask a tourist guide where and when to go, he can advise you better.
