Denmark can still be pretty chilly in August, so I would bring jeans and clothing that you can layer.

Also, it can be somewhat rainy so bring a raincoat and an umbrella.

I would also bring a good sweater or fall jacket.  I mean you are only looking at a high of like 70F.

If fashion is what you are more concerned with check out stores like H&M or Zara

And while you are there buy a checkerboard scarf, they are hugely popular and very cute.

Also make sure if you go to Copenhagen to check out Stoget.  It is a walking street that is just FILLED with shops, clothing, shoes everything form H&M to Hermes
