  1. Worked in Dublin for a couple of weeks and everyday i went to the national gallery, never got tired of it. the whole area around Merrion Square is lovely.

  2. When I went for the weekend I got the tour bus it was great saw loads of places and got lots of information. Also check out the Temple Bar! Good luck!

  3. If you going to Dublin you have to go to the Guinness brewery and maybe the Jamesons distillery - but defo Guinness.  You can mingle at Temple Bar at night.

These are 2 must do's for tourists - but there is so much more to explore in Dubin - but you will not have time.

Have a great time, the craic will be 90....so it will, and thanks a million!

  4. get on the dublin bus tour its E14. you see lots that way then go for a pint in temple bar lots restaurants and bars there your going to have a ball

  5. I worked in Dublin and my family is there so, I'll tell you it is a beautiful city.  Think about staying on Howth, lots of nice B&Bs, yummy seafood and a great session every night of the week, just ask around.  It's also at the end of the Dart making it a 25 minute commute into the city center.

To see: National Gallery, National Museum, Collins Barraks, take a stroll through St. Stephens Green.  The shopping is ****, anything touristy you can probly get cheaper duty free.  Take your time, and pik two or three things to see well, have a great meal. and enjoy my favorite city!

  6. If you like history then go to the National Mueseum of Ireland.  I could've killed days in that place.  Its spread out into a more than one building.  Grafton Street is where you'll find all the shopping you can stand.  Temple Bar is a fun place to hang out at night.

  7. Take the tour bus.  It's very good and will show you everything from historic landmarks to places of interest (shopping, restaurants, bars etc).  Once you've been around you can then choose where to go back to visit in more detail while at the same time having seen everything.

You can get information on the tour bus from all the tourist offices.
