  1. i love walking up hills and mountains too, i would suggest maybe exmoor, faboulous views across the bristol channel to wales, or the quintissential cotswolds, possibly the south downs or you must visit the yorkshire moors they really are spectacular and very intersting, i think the number 1 place is the shropshire hills ex long mynd, they are a walkers pardise with some challenging climbs faboulous views and easy access. make sure you visit!

  2. If you love hiking and walking, I suggest going to the Peak District (or any other popular National Park). It's such a beautiful area and there is so much to do.

London is a must, but you can't really experience it properly unless you spend at least 3 days there.

  3. Look for brochures advertising walking tours, and take time to go on one or two.  There is at least one company in London which offers many kinds of tours, and you just show up at the specified tube stop with cash to pay the tour leader, and off you go, listening, learning, and getting an indepth look and understanding of something about your surroundings.

If you like Robin Hood stories, go to Nottingham.  If you like King Arthur stories, go to Cornwall.  If you like Pagan-era go to Avebury.  If you like All Things Great and Small, go to north England.  If you want to do walking, go on inn-to-inn tours, or hike Hadrian's Wall.

  4. Hi there.
