  1. It depends on what part of Germany you go to.  If you are near the coast, the beaches are great.  Go to the castles.  Does not matter which ones, they are all great and you can say you've been in one for the rest of your life.  Make sure to eat local food and drink lots of beer and wine, for they make the best in the world.  American beer tastes like water compared to the stuff they have in Germany.  You can hike, bike, go to amusement parks (Europa Park is a great one, Holiday Park is, too), go clubbing, drive really fast on the Autobahn, whatever you are into.  Germany is a really wonderful place.  Hope you have fun!!

  2. go to the red light district in any of the big cities.. now thats fun.....

  3. I guess it depends on your age!

I was there in 2002, and went to Heide Park, south of Hamburg. It's a theme park. It has the largest wooden roller coaster in the world.  Also went on the river tour in Hamburg, visited Cologne, Aachen and Lubeck.

My daughter is living in Mannheim. I'm sure she'd love to see you. She's 22 and studying occupational therapy.

  4. Shopping.  Visit museums.  Hiking.  Eating.  Stroll through the cities and see the sights.  Drive on the Autobahn (preferably not in the Stau).  Stop in at a Konditorei in the afternoon for pastries and coffee.  Check out the grocery stores to see what people eat at home and to see how the same stuff you have at home is sold there, but in different packages.

  5. Taken river cruises

    Toured Castles

    Gone to Museums

Had Liter after Liter of beer

Done walking tours of the towns

    Met and talked to locals
