  1. Yes you can, there will be any problems. Have fun, Germany is nice country.

  2. You will have no problems. And german police officers speak english very well-most of them.

  3. Yes, for sure. Too easy.

  4. Yes you can but it can also be tricky with the police though if you are stopped or something, you are best off getting an International license though you can use just your American one. I have rented one and driven on just that before but I was with Germans who could explain to any officers I am American with an America license.

If you are not driving with locals then I would suggest a international one just to safe any possible hassles!!  Not renting but if you get stopped or something.

  5. No question.  Just make sure it is not expired while you are still over there.

  6. you need an international drivers license.  go to AAA and you can get one pretty easily, especially if you are a member, they won't charge you for the picture.  or google international drivers license and you'll get all the info you need.

  7. yeap its a drivers license.

  8. yes!!

I rent a car at the Frankfurt Airport for years and never had any problems!!
