  1. Cork and Kerry are nice any time of the year. There is a Jazz festival happening in Cork towards the end of October that tends to draw in big crowds. The scenery in West Cork and Kerry is beautiful, so if you want to chill out, these are good places to do just that.

It might also be advisable to spend some time in Dublin. October can be somewhat wet, so if staying indoors during the rain is your thing, there are no end to the things you can do in Dublin on a rainy day - a lot of great museums, art galleries, exhibitions, shops and pubs.

There are quite a lot of good hotels in Ireland, but you haven't indicated a price range. Bewleys run some nice hotels in the Dublin area, but most of the big names are there too - Hilton, Raddisson, Sheraton etc.

  2. Inisheer is beautiful.

  3. cork and kerry area, and stay in a b&b you get a real feel of ireland that way, hotels are just not personal they are to formal.

  4. Irish pubs are nice this time of year.  Actually, Irish pubs are nice any time of year.

  5. Really, you'll need to be specific about what you like - scenery, historical places, sport golf etc/  Try this link
