  1. I've traveled to Italy on many occasions and have never had a problem communicating.

  2. I am going too, and my friend sent me this link to help me get ready for the trip.........you may have fun with this too.

    Have a wonderful trip.......

  3. As long as you stay in tourist areas you will be fine. Many Italians speak more than one language in the bigger cities. If you go to the little cities though that do not get many tourtist you may have a little problem but you still should be ok.

  4. Many Europeans speak many languages, and some English is widely known across all of western and southern europe. You could probaly find information at the airport.

  5. Hello,

If you are going to the larger cities in Italy you won't need a translator.  It is just some of the smaller cities, where tourists never go that you might need one.  If the town is named in a guidebook or you can see it on a tourist map, you won't need to worry about a guide.  Most Europeans speak English fluently so you shouldn't have a problem.

  6. Where exactly will you be going (in Italy)?
