I'm going to London on Sunday, and I don't want to feel the sluggish because of the time difference?

So my friend though I should ACT like I'm already in London. As in, doing everything 8 hours after I usually do. Should I do this or is it just stupid? And if I should, would I start Friday, or Saturday, maybe Thursday?

And, if this is a stupid idea, do you have any other ideas not to feel the time difference? I'm not going to be their that long and I don't want to be in a mood for even a day from the weirdness.

  1. Your friend is correct. This will help your body adjust to the new time quickly. Exposing yourself to strong sunlight when you get there will help too.

  2. you will arrive in the morning, and be fine all day and then around 3 or 4  in the afternoon, be near your hotel, becuase it will hit. my first day, i don't go far from my hotel.

  3. Well, if you want to go out at night and make the most out of what London's night life has to offer, having your body clock set to Pacific Time is just perfect! You'll be fresh as a daisy come midnight and you''ll be able to carry on partying with the hardcore people while many plonkers make their way to the nearest tube station to catch the last train home 'cos they're 'tiiiiired'.

  4. I have heard fasting twenty-four hours before your trip can help.  Or eating when you would in London might also work.
