I'm going to Montreal for a week in June. What area of the city should I stay in?

Starting in June, that's when all the summer action starts in Montreal with the Formula 1 Grand Prix.........You should try to stay around the St. Catherine/Crescent/Peel streets area......You could also hit old Montreal which is a short walk away...........Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stay at the Hotel de la Montagne

It's on Rue de la Montagne, by Catherine and Cresent. Lots of bars and clubs around.

If you want to go to a more cosmopolitan and younger scene, go to Boul Saint Laurent. From de la Montagne, walk over to Peel and then up a few blocks to the green line Metro. Take it three stops to Saint Laurent.
