  1. LaRonde is a good amusement park and when my family brought me to Montreal when I was like 7 we went to the Biodome and I can still remember it because it was fun.

  2. La Ronde, Bio Dome, the Science Center, and the Planetarium are musts! The kids will love them. Also take them to see an IMAX film since Montreal is the birthplace of it!

Definitely Jacques Cartier Square, Mont Royal, the malls downtown, the Old Port. There is so much to see and do in Montreal, with a little bit of everything for everyone!

Have fun and enjoy our beautiful city!

  3. You would LOVE old Montreal! It has some of the finest culture in Québec. From the St.Lawrence river, to the French onion soup, to the cobblestone streets, it is a heaven unto itself. Please don't fail to go to the country too, places like Hemmingford are ideal for picnics :)

  4. Totally agree with La Ronde, tis great. Parc Jean-Drapeau where it is situated has some cool areas to explore...The Biodome, outdoor swimming pools and jungle gym.

The Botanic gardens are good. There's a lot for kids and it features a butterfly room, where they fly free. I was there recently and all the kids in the place seemed fascinated.

http://www.montrealsciencecentre.com the science centre had a load of events for kids also, there's the fireworks festival. Lots of summer stuffs.

Check the link for Tourisme Montreal.

  5. If it is late June, the Jazz festival would be a treat.  There is a lot of acts going on and around the venues that the children will enjoy as well.

La ronde, is fun park to go to.  All sort of activities. From Roller coasters to food fair.  And it is located within a park, with lots of other activities.

Old Montreal is a good place to go to as well.

Following is more for you, if and when you are out without the children.  Not that you could not, or should not take them along, but these are of more grown ups places.

Visit St Arthur street, which is lined up with restaurants, but do not forget to take your bottle of wine with you, as this is the only way you can get it on that street.

For a cluby, trendy night, try Cresent street, or St. Dennis.

Hope that you will have a great time.
