Probably, but you'll surely have to pay extra due to excess weight. Save yourself the trouble and just hook up a slingbox (see link below) to your cable and watch it online. You can find them just about anywhere and maybe even get a good discount on ebay.

You are allow to take it, but in customs you are going to pay taxes for it (besides the extra weight,you paid). I f you are planning to stay in Peru long time, you can sell it on eBay (I got usually the same amount of money of what I spent on the items that I've sold) and buy one back home, you can find great deals in Polvos Azules (if you're Peruvian you must know).And if you're staying for not too long , don't worry ,they're plenty of things to do in Peru, you won't even have time to watch TV.
