Have checked out a few so far and the prices seem to range from around £150 - £500 for the trek. I'm aware I need to book this in the next week or so to make sure I get the dates i want. Any help guidance would be appreciated!

  1. Also ask on the Peru section of the Lonely Planet Thorntree- you will get loads of advice there from people who have done it.

  2. To me the best travel agency in Peru is:

    www.limatours.com.pe

Lima tours may be quite expensive but it's the best. Why don't you try and read past questions about this topic in yahoo answers. I've seen a lot of answers posted in this category that recommend agencies in Cuzco which are very good at Inca trails and people recommend them.

  3. On the Inca Trail you get what you pay for.

You can go cheap and suffer inexperienced guides, surly porters, lousy food and inferior equipment.

Or you can pay for a higher quality trip and have an experience that brings good memories rather than bad.
