I'm going to Positano Italy! What should I do while there?

  1. There are many things to do in the Positano area.

    Drink Limoncello is the must.

    Beyond that, there are local cruise ships that you can get on.  I suggest taking a day trip that perhaps stops at Capri.  You will enjoy that tremendously.

    You will be in the middle of the Amalfi coast.  Take a drive up and down the coast, just be careful.  There are a lot of turns and I suggest pulling off the road in a parking error to get the full affect.

    You are not that far from Naples and Pompeii.  Take a day trip to Pompeii and see the ruins that were preserved when Mount Vesuvius erupted.

    Finally, enjoy the beaches but get there early as the end of July and all of August is vacation time for Italians.  They are at the beach and it will be difficult to get some towel space.
