  1. The guide books tend to include most sights but have a look at this web site. It tells you all of the wonderful events happening in Rome while you're there. Some are free.

    Good Luck

  2. Shopping Etiquette - never handle the merchandise. they think it's highly rude and tourists seem to do this all the time. ask the shopkeeper to show you the merchandise instead.

  3. Please visit the following link

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rome

This should give you all information abotu your destination.

  4. they are too many handsome guys

  5. aaaahhhhh getting robbed

    and pick pocketed...

  6. i didnt find it in any of the tour books i looked at - but check out the keyhole at the knights of malta on the aventine hill.  it has the most amazing view of st peters and is well worth the walk.  its down by the circo massimo and the bocca della verita (mouth of truth) :)

  7. If you're there on a Wednesday, find a tour group for the Vatican.  The Pope gives public mass on most Wednesdays and the morning tour groups get passes to the mass.

  8. Keep you eyes open for bar specials and events.  You'll might be suprise to see Beer-Pong night or College night in Rome.  Also, feel right just to walk around.  The guidebook will say it's safe and it really interesting that it's really is safe.  I went by myself a couple of years ago and walked around Rome.  I got loss a few times, mainly because the buses stop at wide points on the map so if you miss you stop, the next stop might be like 8 blocks away.

It's fun and spontaneous, you'll never know who you'll meet.  Bon Voyage make sure you have a Rick Steve's guidebook and Lonely Planet for events and dining.
