  1. How long is the vacation, how old are you, what are your likes? Romes a BIIIIGGGGG city with tons of things to see and do. Wanna do the touristy things or something off beat?

  2. Wow, I envy you. I was in Rome in September for 4 days and its the best city ever!

There is so much to do there honestly, so it will be hard for me to write it all out.

My advice to you is to buy Rick Steves book for Italy, or maybe Rome. He gives really good advice about places to go. Also what I like about his books is that he gives some information on how you can walk around in Rome, so that gives us an opportunity to mix around with locals.

Globe trekker also has some good suggestions.

    Enjoy!!

  3. Lots to see Villa Adriano,Fontanna di Trevi,Coloseom, the vatican and make sure you do not go with short pants or sleveless shirts, make sure you walk your way through the city.

  4. i'm from rome!!!!so i 'll get you some advice!!firstly you must visit  spain's square just taking the metro(tram)at the "spagna stop"and you can visit all the palce around there like via condotti, via del corso, colosseum, piazza venezia, then take the metro at "ottaviano"and you can visit the vatican!!so..if you wanna visit "piazza navona"and "tha pantheon"tyou have to walk a bit!!!but it's nice!!!by the way for the night i advice you "via trastevere"thare are a lot of pubs and fun:-)!!enjoy yourself and good luck!!i'm sure you'll love rome!!!

  5. Rome is amazing. An easy way to get around, and I know it might sound a little to touristy, is taking the red double decker bus. It takes you around to all of the sites, the vatican, the colosseum, everything you probably want to see and you can get off whenever wherever and it runs relatively late into the day. And it's a 2 day pass, its a good investment. Also almost everyone in Rome speaks English but try and learn some basics of Italian because they like to see you are trying, otherwise they are a bit rude (no offense to the Italians, I am italian myself).
