  1. I've lived in Seattle all my life. Pioneer Square and Belltown are hoppin' all the time; they are definitely the places to check out if you're over 21. Broadway also has any number of trendy clubs, especially if you're g*y (but also if you're straight).

  2. Good places to drink...  There's a lot of different ways to answer this, depending on what you mean by "good" and "cool"...

On the weekends, Pioneer Square is really packed with people and open bars and clubs.  The setting is kind of people who are around 21 years old and around college-aged people.  People tend to get pretty drunk like s##t-faced down there pretty often.  I don't mean to badmouth it, as it is pretty cool down there and there are a few good dance spots down there, but that's the crowd.

Belltown has heaps of bars and clubs as well, but are a little older crowd.  Not like everybody's in their 40's and up, but maybe mid-20's, more settled down and people are tending to be out having fun, but not out to drink in all the fun they can grab.  It's pretty chill, also has cool dance areas as well.

Ballard and Fremont have become better and better places to drink, but Ballard in particular has really come into its own in terms of developing a "scene" over the last 5-6 years.  Def worth checking out, though it's a little north of downtown (I don't know where you'll be specifically [actually, I guess it'd be kind of creepy if I did, right?]).

The cool places are your typical generic answers of Pike Place Market, which no matter how much it's been talked about is def a must-see; Seattle Center, which houses the Space Needle, Fun Forest Amusement Park, Pacific Science Center, Key Arena, Opera House, all on one grounds; if you do go to Ballard, check out Archie McPhee, one of the coolest and most random shops full of all sorts of little goodies and fun trinkets and it's def the place to bring home the souvenirs from!  Check out their site at http://www.mcphee.com to get a sample, but being there will be even cooler!!

  6. OMG I love Seattle. You HAVE to go to the Space Needle. Its really crowded and expensive but it is REALLY worth it. Try main street for bars and stuff. They got lots!

  7. My favorite place Chapel. It is a chapel converted into a hot hipster spot. Live dj and a huge happy hour menu of some of the best, most unique cocktails you get. $5!!!. Everyday from 5-8pm. Hot people. Check it out.

  8. I enjoyed Trader Joes and Snoqualmie Falls.

  9. Go down to 1st ave on Saturday nights (around the Pike Place Market). Every where is poppin. You'll be sure to have a good time. If the weather is good take the time to enjoy the scenery. It's quite nice.
