I'm going to Six Flags Great America tomorrow for the last day of school. So...?

Question

How much money should I bring?

I've already paid the admission fee, but how much is food there?

and do any of the rides or entertainment (etc.) cost money?

how much are they?

anything you suggest I should go on? I'm not really into the HUGE, EXTREME rides, even though the place's basis is the big rollercoasters

I just get sick...and scared lol

so, what are good rides, that aren't too wild? (no turning upside down!)

anything else I should know?

one last thing...my friend has this thing about Zorro, so I told her I'll bring my sister's costume tomorrow so she can wear it at the park

Is this a bad idea? Will she get arrested? lol

idk they'll probably make her take it off when she goes on rides (heehee)

apparently they have a strict dress code, but I read nothing about Zorro costumes :)

oh yeah! how big are the lockers? it said they're like $10, so if we could squeeze our stuff all together, that would be good

I would say to bring about $80 dollars just to be on the safe side... Food cost about $20-30 dollars to really eat good, but that's only one meal... Now rides don't cost individually so your pretty much good on that... Ummm the ride I would recommend you get on first just to get you  loosened up would be Space Mountain!!! It might have a long line, but it is worth it trust me you'll LUV IT...

Well the costume I wouldn't know to much about, but I say if she wants to wear it then by all means do it... The lockers aren't that big so I would recommend you bring a backpack...

lockers are only $1. put your stuff in them because u r no longer able to get in line with a bookbag and stuff like that. There is allot of food there but your average meal by yourself will cost u like $15. its $10.99 for just a hamburger!!!!! Bring like $50-$100 because u won't be getting on most rides and there are many games u can play. u will like the games. some rides u can go on are american eagle, the viper, the wizzer, the new batman gotham ride, ragin cajin, all the water rides and much more!!! and i'm not sure about the zorro outfit but i wouldn't wear it. They got really strict this year so just don't wear it.  i hope i helped, and have fun!!!1

i would say bring $50 minimum if your eating inside the park.

the lockers arent that big maybe 2-3 peoples worth depending on what u have.

rides that cost $$$

dare devil dive 60 for 3 people(you most likely wont like this. its close to bungee jumping) back of the park

go karts are $7-10 range, i think they are 7 for a single 9 for a double.(front of the park)

good not scary rides

ragin cajun(mardi gras area) not to scary even for the beginner rollercoaster rider

whizzer would be the next step up for rollercoasters that arent too scary but i recommend this only if u thought ragin cajun was too weak. the seating on the whizzer is 2 to a seat witht he bigger person in back.

richotet is a spinning ride thats fun and not to scary for the average rider.

revolution is a rocking/spinning ride. it rocks back and forth while the circular part of the ride keeps spinning. not really a ride for people who cant handle spinning. great if u love the dizzy feeling.

they shouldnt have a problem with the zorro costume unless there is a cape(choking  hazard) or metal objects on it. at worse they will be asked to remove it.

ur still in skool???!!!!? i got out like last wednesday..!

i wouldnt bring much... just wear shorts and shirt and put$$$ in ur pocket soo u dont loose it.... lucky

i suggest you take about $70 dollars for food....that should cover food for you & your sister. The food there is a bit expensive but with  $70 you guys can probably buy a good lunch & then get snacks later. Rides rides rides....the el toro,kinda ka,nitro & the superman are all EXTREME rides...& those are my favs but you'll probably be scared of those..lol..the best non extreme rides will have to be Spongebob(i like big coasters but spongebob is awesome,Make sure u get on it,I promise u wont regret it) definitely get on the medusa..its the most relaxing coaster at great adventure...thats usually the last ride i get on b4 i leave the park...u should get on the swings..thats fun...& its a kiddie coaster that goes rite over the water..thats really awesome...lol. Um as far as lockers the zorro costume........u def. shouldnt take it...it's goin to be tooo hot to be walkin around with it & itll be a bummer if it is against the dress code cause then it would be a total waste of ur time taking it there anyways. when ur at six flags,its like ur a big kid,u just wanna run around & have as much fun & get on as much rides as u can...so just wear something comfortable....tennis shoes,shorts & a tank top are just fine.......have fun!
